NeuroMuscular Taping offers targeted treatment protocols across a broad range of medical and allied health specialisations.

The specific application of NMT decompression taping is a non-invasive, drug-free alternative for post-surgical pain and swelling, scar minimisation, and tissue remodelling to improve tissue mobility and reduce adhesions.

NMT provides functional support without restricting movement, making it effective for managing muscle fatigue, addressing joint dysfunction and retraining movement patterns, and in treatment of chronic oedema.

Finding the Right NMT Certificate for You

There are two entry-level certificates and one advanced practitioner course. Each Certificate covers a defined scope of pathologies such as chronic oedema management, reducing pain and improving skeletal muscular mobility, or post-operative rehabilitation of the skin and tissue. Neuromuscular Taping Institute

Course curriculum, assessment criteria, and eligibility requirements are those of the NeuroMuscular Taping Institute, Italy. Graduates are awarded a Certificate of Achievement issued by the NMT Institute and are eligible for listing on the NMT International Practitioner Register.

NMT courses are grounded in current research and evidence-based practice and taught by experienced clinicians and global leaders in NMT. There is a strong focus on hands-on, practical application with real-time feedback, backed up by post-course mentoring and continued professional support.

For Eligible Health Professionals
A Level 5 Diploma or higher in a relevant clinical qualification is required. Certificate courses are suitable for Medical Teams, Allied Health Professionals, Remedial Therapists and post-surgical rehab teams.

How does NMT differ from other kinseiotaping methods expand_more

Not all taping techniques are the same, and the method of application directly determines the physiological responses in the underlying skin and tissue. Elastic tapes can be applied to either compress the tissue, potentially reducing tissue perfusion, or decompress the tissue, potentially increasing tissue perfusion.

Only the NMT courses will teach you the critical difference between these opposing taping styles, and the clinical reasoning to understand when and how each should be used. Whether you’ve taken taping courses before or not, an NMT Certificate offers clinically proven techniques that can elevate your treatment outcomes.

What are the NMT practitioner fees? expand_more

The NMT certificate license fees is not included in your Moving Lymph course fees. Were we to include these costs we would need to add GST, bank fees, admin time, and a buffer to allow for a fluctuating exchange rate. Additionally, NMT fees are not required until the fortnight before each course component, spreading these costs over time and allowing them to be paid as needed, rather than paying them all up front when you enrol.

The NMT Practitioner fee for 2-day courses is USD 35, and USD 50 for 4-days courses.
